Arjan Konomi has said that his planned television return was interrupted after Top Channel informed him of a suspension, a public claim that raises questions about his role in the new season of “Për’puthen”.
In the statement reported by Loki Magazine on September 9, Konomi said the broadcaster’s offices had been contacting him since mid-August about signing a contract. According to his account, he was first called for filming of the programme’s promotional spot and was then told of the suspension later that same day.
Konomi connected the decision to his public positions following a confrontation with Prime Minister Edi Rama in Vuno. He alleged that he had been asked not to express political views on social media or attend protests, a request he said he did not accept.
These are Konomi’s own claims. Top Channel has not issued a public statement confirming the reason for any suspension, the state of a contract or whether he will be part of the new season. His definitive departure from the format therefore cannot be presented as confirmed.
What is established is that Konomi has publicly made the suspension claim and offered his account. His television status remains pending an announcement from Top Channel or the production.
