An unexpected moment during one of Gjesti’s concerts has drawn attention on social media. In a video published on 24 August 2026, the artist is seen performing near a stage-effects unit when a white CO₂ plume activates in his direction.

WHAT THE VIDEO SHOWS

The footage shows Gjesti standing very close to the unit at the moment it activates. He immediately steps back and raises his hands near his face, visibly surprised by the pressure and proximity of the effect.

The performance continues after the moment. The video does not show a lengthy interruption to the concert and was not accompanied by a public announcement of any serious injury.

WHAT SHOULD NOT BE ASSUMED

There is no official statement from the artist or the organisers confirming an injury, medical treatment or a health problem. This article therefore describes only what can be seen in the public video and draws no conclusion about his condition.

CO₂ EFFECTS AT CONCERTS

These units are used to produce dense gas columns and visual atmosphere during live performances. Their timing requires careful coordination with performers’ movement, particularly when an artist approaches the front of the stage.

Gjesti maintained the flow of the performance after the surprise, while the clip spread quickly because of his immediate reaction.
