Luiz Ejlli has publicly responded to debate over the name of his new programme, “Live me Luizin”, after the first episode carried an on-screen notice stating that it had been recorded earlier.

The discussion began because part of the audience had understood the word “Live” as a promise of a real-time broadcast. Commentator Arjan Konomi also criticised the apparent mismatch publicly; ON MEDIA.AL covered that reaction as Konomi's position without claiming that the broadcaster had deceived viewers.

Ejlli has now offered his own explanation. In a public comment cited by Loki Magazine, he wrote: “The guests are live with me, therefore live with Luiz. The music is also live.”

His explanation shifts the meaning of the title away from the transmission method and towards the programme's content: guests are present in the studio with the host and the music is performed live. He did not say that every episode would be broadcast in real time.

This explanation is consistent with Top Channel's official presentation of the programme as a show combining interviews, live music, humour and games. However, the broadcaster has not published a general rule stating whether future episodes will be live broadcasts or pre-recorded.

For now, what is confirmed is Luiz Ejlli's explanation of the title. The debate over the expectation created by the word “Live” remains a matter of interpretation involving the audience, the format and its transmission method.
