STATUS: OFFICIAL — INTERNATIONAL WITHDRAWAL
Kai Havertz has left the Germany camp and returned to London for treatment after sustaining a muscle injury in the 1–1 draw with the Netherlands.
The 27-year-old forward was forced off after roughly 30 minutes following a challenge by Quinten Timber. Scans confirmed the problem and the German Football Association announced that Havertz would not continue with the squad during this Nations League window.
Jamal Musiala also left the camp because of injury. Jonathan Burkardt and Florian Wirtz were called up as replacements.
WHAT IS CONFIRMED
Havertz has sustained a muscle injury, withdrawn from international duty and will receive treatment in London. He has scored three goals in seven Arsenal appearances this season and started all five Premier League matches.
WHAT REMAINS UNCONFIRMED
The severity of the injury, length of absence and return date have not been published. This report therefore does not present the issue as a long-term injury.
