Orinda Huta has clarified her position on marriage and divorce after comments made during “Goca dhe Gra” became a subject of discussion online.

In a statement shared through Instagram Story, the presenter said divorce should not automatically be treated as the first option whenever a couple encounters difficulties. In her view, marriage requires serious commitment, patience and effort from both partners.

Her clarification, however, did not stop at defending commitment. Huta also drew a firm boundary: working to preserve a relationship does not mean tolerating disrespect or surrendering personal dignity.

“Fighting for a marriage does not mean accepting a lack of respect,” she wrote in the closing part of the statement.

The full message distinguishes between two ideas that are often blurred in public debate: giving up too quickly and remaining in a relationship at any cost. Orinda’s position is that a crisis does not necessarily make a marriage hopeless, while mutual respect remains a basic condition.

The response followed a panel discussion on “Goca dhe Gra” about relationships, commitment and divorce. The material she published clarifies a general point of view; it is not an announcement or claim about her private marriage.

ON MEDIA.AL does not present the statement as professional relationship advice or as a judgement of people who choose divorce. It reflects only the position Huta chose to share publicly: young people should take commitment seriously, but nobody should sacrifice respect and dignity merely to preserve a relationship.
