STATUS: OFFICIAL
Bologna have officially completed the signing of Matteo Darmian. The club announced on October 8 that the Italian defender has signed a contract through June 30, 2027.
The confirmation closes the reported-talks stage covered one day earlier. Darmian joins Bologna as a free agent after his Inter contract expired at the end of last season.
The 36-year-old can operate on either side of defence and in a back three. Bologna describe him as an experienced, tactically disciplined player capable of covering several roles.
The official announcement confirms the club and the length of the contract. Bologna did not disclose salary, bonuses or other financial terms, so those details are not presented as confirmed facts.
