Capital T has responded publicly after an audio recording published by the media drew attention. In a video reported by Loki Magazine, the rapper reassured followers that he is well and said his support for students and citizens standing up for their causes would continue.
The artist added that images from the protests in Albania had affected him and that his relationship with the Albanian public was one reason he did not want to remain silent. He thanked those who had contacted him with concern and said he expected to be in Albania soon.
WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE CALL
Dosja.al published audio on October 21 in which a person identifying himself as a police officer asks Capital T about his location and return date, and requests an in-person conversation when he comes to Tirana. The outlet described the call as pressure and a threat following the rapper’s public position on the protests.
The published audio is not, by itself, sufficient to establish the legal purpose of the call or prove the description “threat”. ON MEDIA.AL has not found a public statement from Tirana Police confirming the caller’s identity, the reason for the contact or any link to the artist’s posts. Those elements therefore remain reported claims rather than official findings.
The new development is Capital T’s own position: he says he is well, is not withdrawing the support he expressed and plans to come to Albania.
