One of Frederik Ndoci’s best-known songs has gained new context from the artist himself. Speaking on “Grida Duma Podcast”, the singer said that “Sytë e tu” was dedicated to Xhoana Nano.
Top Channel published the account on October 11, and Loki Magazine reported it later that evening. According to Ndoci, Nano was selected to appear as the video’s protagonist while she was a high-school student. He also said that the footage featuring her was subsequently deleted.
The detail matters because it comes directly from the song’s creator rather than from speculation about its lyrics. Ndoci was explaining the track’s backstory and how its on-screen protagonist became connected to that story.
During the conversation, the question “Whose eyes were they, then?” steered the interview toward the dedication. Ndoci also performed “Sytë e tu” live, turning the recollection into a musical moment in the podcast.
The statement is neither an announcement of a new project nor a claim about the current private lives of the people named. It is Ndoci’s retrospective account of the inspiration and video behind a familiar song from his catalogue.
