Kosovo artist Rinesa Qeriqi, known professionally as Rinesancë, has died at the age of 25. Her family announced the news on October 23, with KOHA.net and other Albanian-language media confirming the report.
A YOUNG VOICE WITH HER OWN IDENTITY
Rinesancë stood out as a singer, songwriter and artist with a personal style in the hip-hop and alternative scene. She had collaborated with established music names and also appeared in Alban Skënderaj’s 2018 music video for “Lea”.
The artist lived and worked in Canada while maintaining a connection with Kosovo and Albanian culture through her creative work and interviews. Reports following her death have prompted tributes to her talent, sincerity and distinctive approach to music.
