Jordan Ayew has a new club. Sheffield United officially announced on September 8, 2026 that the formalities had been completed and the forward had signed a one-year deal.
Ayew arrives as a free agent after his Leicester City contract expired at the end of June. With no selling club involved, there is no transfer fee; Sheffield United have not disclosed wages or bonuses.
The club said the 34-year-old would link up with Chris Wilder’s squad immediately. He brings extensive experience of English football following spells with Aston Villa, Swansea City, Crystal Palace and Leicester.
