Marc Guiu has closed his Chelsea chapter and will continue his career in the Bundesliga. The English club officially announced on 1 September that the Spanish forward had completed a permanent transfer to RB Leipzig.

Guiu joined Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer of 2024. According to the figures published by the club, he made 29 appearances and scored eight goals in blue.

A significant part of his contribution came in the UEFA Conference League, where he scored six goals in six matches during Chelsea's successful campaign. He was also part of the squad that won the FIFA Club World Cup.

The transfer is official and permanent. However, Chelsea have not disclosed the fee, the length of Guiu's Leipzig contract or other financial details. Those elements are therefore not presented as confirmed facts.

For the Spain Under-21 forward, the move to Germany opens a new opportunity for minutes and continuity. For Chelsea, the departure ends a two-year spell that produced eight goals and two team trophies.
