Tottenham Hotspur confirmed on 27 August 2026 that Omar Marmoush is the club's newest player. The Egypt forward joins from Manchester City on a season-long loan, with the agreement including an obligation for a permanent transfer in summer 2027.
The north London club have assigned the 27-year-old the number 22 shirt. Marmoush can operate through the centre or from the left, adding pace and flexibility to Tottenham's attacking options.
Tottenham did not disclose financial terms. Reuters reports that the purchase obligation is £50 million and could rise to £60 million with add-ons; those figures are reported rather than club-confirmed terms.
The transfer is official and Tottenham have confirmed both the loan and the obligation to buy. The package value, payment schedule and bonuses have not been published by the club.
