STATUS: OFFICIAL — Paris Saint-Germain earned their first Ligue 1 win of the season by beating Brest 1–0 on September 13, 2026. Ferran Torres decided the match in the fifth minute.

The Spain forward started the move in midfield, combined with João Neves and collected Ousmane Dembélé’s backheel before bending a low finish into the corner. Torres has now scored six goals in five games since joining PSG.

Brest came close to an equaliser when Kamory Doumbia hit the post and later forced an important save from goalkeeper Matvey Safonov. PSG protected the lead and moved to five points from four games after collecting only two from their opening three rounds.

On the same day, Lille beat Troyes 2–0 through goals from Tiago Santos and Ethan Mbappé. The victory put Lille top on 10 points, ahead of Monaco and Rennes on goal difference. Lens also recovered from 2–0 down to draw 2–2 with Le Mans.
