Yll Limani’s performance at Stuttgart’s Porsche-Arena took on added meaning when the singer paused before “Kthehu” and dedicated the song to former KLA leaders currently in The Hague.

According to footage and a report published by Loki Magazine on September 20, Limani named Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi as supportive chants rose from the audience. The concert had taken place on the evening of September 19 as part of the artist’s international tour.

The moment also prompted a response from Endrit Thaçi. The former Kosovo president’s son shared footage from the performance on Instagram and publicly thanked Limani for the emotion and the dedication.

This article is limited to the public action on stage and the public response that followed. It does not attach political claims or statements to the dedication beyond what the people involved made public.
