STATUS: OFFICIAL — Axel Disasi is a Crystal Palace player for the 2026/27 season. Palace and Chelsea confirmed the loan on 26 August 2026, completing the 28-year-old defender's move within the Premier League.
Disasi joined Chelsea from Monaco in summer 2023 and has made more than 60 appearances for the London club. He brings experience at centre-back and was part of the France squad that reached the 2022 World Cup final.
In his first comments, Disasi described Palace as the right club for his next step and praised the team's direction. The move gives the squad an experienced central-defensive option for the full season.
The clubs have not disclosed a loan fee, wage split or purchase option. The agreement should therefore be described only through its confirmed elements: a loan from Chelsea to Crystal Palace for the 2026/27 season.
The move is officially registered; any later claim about a permanent transfer would require a fresh announcement from the clubs.
