Nico Paz set the tone for an unforgettable Como night by scoring in the second minute with a curling effort from the edge of the box. After the interval, the Argentine supplied Anastasios Douvikas for the second goal before adding his own second after an individual run.
Jacobo Ramón headed in the fourth in the 76th minute. Joshua Zirkzee scored Manchester United's only goal in stoppage time, but it did not alter the scale of the defeat.
LILLE 2–4 GALATASARAY
Galatasaray took an early lead through Yunus Akgün before Soriba Diaoune scored twice to turn the match in Lille's favour. Alexey Batrakov headed the visitors level before halftime.
In the second half, a corner was recorded as a Nabil Bentaleb own goal and restored the Turkish side's lead. Victor Osimhen sealed the 4–2 victory with a powerful effort from outside the penalty area.
