Héctor Fort is officially a Real Sociedad player. Barcelona announced on 30 August 2026 that an agreement had been reached for the right-back's permanent transfer.
According to Barcelona's statement, the Catalan club retain a buy-back option and a percentage of any future sale of the player. The transfer fee and other financial details were not disclosed.
The move gives Fort a new chapter in La Liga while Barcelona keep two mechanisms to benefit from his future development. Only the transfer, buy-back option and future-sale percentage are confirmed.
