Bayern Munich have confirmed that Luis Díaz suffered a minor muscle tear in his left hamstring during the 2–2 draw with Arsenal.

The Colombia forward entered in the 68th minute and was forced off in stoppage time. According to the club statement, medical examinations confirmed the injury.

WHAT IS KNOWN AND WHAT IS NOT

Bayern said Díaz will be sidelined “for the time being” but did not publish a number of weeks or a prospective return date. The description of the tear as minor is official; any recovery schedule beyond that remains unconfirmed.

Bayern's schedule continues with a trip to Freiburg on Sunday, a match for which Díaz is not expected to be available under the current announcement.
