Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Sávio from Manchester City. Both clubs confirmed the permanent transfer on 25 August 2026, moving the story from reported negotiations to a completed deal.

The Brazilian winger will use the name Sávio. In Tottenham’s announcement, he described the move as a major opportunity and said his conversation with head coach Roberto De Zerbi influenced his decision to join Spurs.

Tottenham confirm that Sávio is now their player. Manchester City confirm his permanent departure after two seasons at the Etihad Stadium.

Sávio is a wide attacker who seeks one-on-one situations, creates from the flanks and can carry the ball towards the penalty area. De Zerbi views him as a source of energy and invention for the attack.
