STATUS: REPORTED AGREEMENT — Liverpool and PSG have made their biggest breakthrough yet in negotiations for Bradley Barcola. Sky Sports reported on 27 August 2026 that the clubs had reached an agreement in principle on a package worth £120 million.
This is not yet an official transfer. The report says the deal has not been finalised and the remaining details are still being discussed. Liverpool, PSG and the player have not issued a final announcement.
Sky Sports says there had been a significant valuation gap throughout the summer, with PSG previously seeking around £145 million for the France forward. The agreement in principle is a major shift, but it is not the end of the process.
Barcola is 23 and has been a Liverpool target for the wide attacking positions. The final payment structure, add-ons, personal terms, medical, signature and registration all remain unconfirmed.
The status should change to OFFICIAL only if Liverpool, PSG or the player confirms completion. Until then, both the £120 million figure and the agreement must be described as reported.
