THREE PEOPLE KILLED

Three people were killed and two others injured in a serious road crash in Manëz, Durrës, according to preliminary information from the Albanian State Police carried by public broadcaster RTSH.

The crash was recorded at about 02:22 on a secondary road in Manëz. Police said the driver lost control of the car, which then struck a concrete kerb.

The driver and two passengers died. A 15-year-old was among those killed. ON MEDIA.AL is not publishing the names or initials of the people involved, in order to respect the privacy of the families and especially that of minors.

TWO PASSENGERS TRANSFERRED TO TIRANA

Two other passengers, aged 25 and 16, were also in the vehicle. They were transferred to Tirana for specialist medical care. Police said in their preliminary statement that the 16-year-old was in a serious condition.
